Professor Stephen William Hawking was born on 8th January 1942 (exactly 300 years after the death of Galileo) in Oxford, England. Stephen Hawking was an English theoretical physicistcosmologist, and author, who was director of research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology at the University of Cambridge at the time of his death. He was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge between 1979 and 2009.His scientific works included a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He was a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.

Quotes

Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.
I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.
We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special.
My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.
Life would be tragic if it weren't funny.
I have no idea. People who boast about their IQ are losers.
People won't have time for you if you are always angry or complaining.
We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet.
Not only does God play dice, but... he sometimes throws them where they cannot be seen.
To confine our attention to terrestrial matters would be to limit the human spirit.

Thomas Alva Edison was an American inventor and businessman, who has been described as America's greatest inventor. He is credited with developing many devices in fields such as electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording, and motion pictures. These inventions, which include the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the long-lasting, practical electric light bulb, had a widespread impact on the modern industrialized world. He was one of the first inventors to apply the principles of mass production and teamwork to the process of invention, working with many researchers and employees. He is often credited with establishing the first industrial research laboratory.

Quotes

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.
Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
There is no substitute for hard work.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will instruct his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.
It is very beautiful over there!
If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.
The three great essentials to achieve anything worth while are, first, hard work; second, stick-to-itiveness; third, common sense

Albert Einstein; 14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist. who developed the theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. He is best known to the general public for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation".He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect",a pivotal step in the development of quantum theory.
👉Albert Einstein was formally associated with the Institute for Advanced Study located in            Princeton, New Jersey.
"Quotes"
💢Imagination is more important than knowledge.
💢Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.
💢No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.
💢Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.
💢Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
💢The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for         existing.
💢Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.
💢If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.
💢I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.
💢Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.
